NW Hills Addition

We are nearing completion for the construction on the addition to a modern house tucked away in the NW hills of Portland.  The original house and the new addition were both designed by Skylab Architecture.  The design is very dynamic and bold, yet fits comfortably on the site.

There has also been a considerable amount of hardscaping/landscaping to further integrate the house into the hillside site.  One of my favorite features are the exterior stairs that channel the rainwater from the roof and culminates into a fountain at the front of the house.

Is has been fun working on such a cleanly detailed house with lots of custom design elements.  We will keep you updated to show you the finish product soon.
